tuxedo edit.

i’ve probably mentioned it already, and it will be a constant them around here: i love men’s/men-inspired fashion. in that vein, this tuxedo dress was an easy choice. it’s a little short, but still tasteful. it’s honestly one piece in my wardrobe that i feel doesn’t get the shine it deserves.

oh, and my shoe of choice will be (and has been) a repeat item. when i was a younger woman, i didn’t really appreciate mules. fast forward and i’ve come to realize they are pretty dope transitional piece—as in, they can be dressed up or dressed down. as i’ve mentioned on a prior post, i absolutely require that type of versatility when it comes to my clothing. it’s truly what determines whether i purchase a given item or forget about it.

i opted to accessorize the look with my go-to dior shades yet again. i’m still deciding on whether shades will be my “thing” for my fashions posts. you ever see bloggers who almost always feature a given accessory or style piece? that’s the energy i’m trying to channel, so look out for an array of frames and shades being featured going forward.
